Here is Andrew at this years US Nat's showing the Yanks that Kiwis can't not only fly but they fly fast as well.

One of our Wellington members has sent in some of he FPV flying. This a method of flying via Video link. Not the video is via a HD camera and very different to what you would see on the ground. If you look carefully you will see the camera on the bottom left on the video. This is the one being used to transmit to the ground station.

Whats not a plane or Heli yet it flys like a plane and looks like a heli well sort of. Another interesting video sent in by one of our memembers.

Who says you need a perfect day to fly?

You may not get much in the way of vintage stuff so the following you tube attachment is of my large (2.8metre wing span) vintage model.  This Reg Truman design has some history as the wing is the original built by Reg back in 1939.  I have refurbished it though to take out warps and repair some minor damage and drew up a plan and built a new fuselage and tail unit.  As you can see it is a lovely floater and is a delight to fly.
