The fatshark all in one setups are easily the most plug and play systems.
Unless you have a HAM licence, only 2.4 and 5.8ghz gear is legal. In 5.8ghz only the fatshark/airwave/immersionrc gear sits on the right channels to be legal.
I'm using Fatshark Dominators on 2.4Ghz and using 35Mhz to control the plane. The goggles are great and not being attached to a receiver by wires is great. I have several airborne rigs. Just getting used to a SC2000 camera and a Fatshark transmitter. A point to beware is voltages. Some cameras will accept 12volts and others not. Some transmitters output a regulated 5v which is OK but be very careful if you are making up your own wiring loom or you can kill the camera. Go for the best camera resolution that you can. 420 lines is acceptable but 600 is much better.
If you go with fatshark gear on 5.8Ghz, be sure to invest in CP (Circular Polarised) antennas. Whoever sells you the fatshark should be able to sell you a matched pair for tx and rx.
