Model Flying New Zealand (MFNZ) is a non-profit body dedicated to the promotion and protection of Aeromodelling in New Zealand.

Model Flying New Zealand was first established as the New Zealand Model Aeronautical Association (NZMAA) in 1932 and changed to Model Flying New Zealand in 2008.

The 60th Nationals

The 60th Nationals are being held at Clareville, Carterton from NOW till the  Wednesday 2nd January 2008. NZMAA President Barry Lennox will be the Nationals Manager this year.

It's all over till next year. A huge thanks to all of those that contributed to the running of the Nats. And thanks to the competitors and their families as well.

Frequency Restrictions

On Competition Day 1 and 2 of the Nationals RC Frequency restrictions apply at the RC1 Site and the Oval. This applies to Aerobatics, Pylon and Helicopter Competitions.

The following frequencies will NOT be allowed for use at RC1 at ANY TIME on Competition Day 1 and 2 of the Nationals. These frequencies can only be used and MUST be used by those entering Helicopter events which will be flown at the Oval. 2.4Ghz is available at both sites.
